Pretty nice way to start my Friday.... yesterday was my last day teaching art to kids and I don't go back to work until September :))

Plenty of time to enjoy my summer.... by teaching art summer camp and art lessons for home schooled kids :))

Collage on wood

I found some wood in my studio and thought it was time to start making some serious collage work again. My husband made a trip to the lumber store and bought me some more wood that I hope to have him cut up into 8x10 pieces.... 

This is a good way to use up some of that yummy paper I bought ages ago to scrapbook with and since the last time I did that was... more ages ago....the paper will come to good use. Come to think of it I miss scrapbooking :( .... hm.... perhaps this summer

Next week is my last week teaching art for this school year. I will have the summer off to play.... teaching art camp to K-5th grade kids :))

It's beginning to feel like summer

I think it's beginning to feel like summer around here :)) Not only is the weather pretty nice but I am just about done with work for the school year!

So excited about this summer!!! I will open the doors to some amazing art lesson camps in June with Kids Art Classroom...

If you have kids and live in the San Francisco Bay Area you have to sign up! We will meet in the Menlo Park, Palo Alto area for weekly sessions. If you live too far away don't fret... you can find our lessons on our website :)
