My oldest daughters ART show
My oldest daughter Kristin Hartman is making a name for herself in the art world. She has a show called New Light on February 12, 2011 at the Old City Gallery in Sacramento California and I just can't wait to go. I have tried so very hard these last few months to not see what she is painting so I can be surprised at the show. Sometimes I cry when I see her trees and the light shining through. I have one of her largest work in my home and it is amazing, I get lost in her trees and don't want to find my way out.
Yupp, I am a proud Momma and ready to admit it but just look at her art and you know what I mean.

Ordered over 60 new canvases the other day....

This little girl and her frog came out of nowhere :) Think I just want it to be spring.

The knee surgery went real well but.... the surgeon had to stretch my leg so far to reach my meniscus that he sprained my MCL. I now have to recover from the surgery AND nurse my MCL. Physical therapy twice a week until mid March !!! I have to add on months to my recovery time :(
I was able to hop upstairs to my studio the other day for the first time in over a week and could not help but paint a little.
Some of these pictures are awful, it was too dark to take pics tonight, sorry.
